Description
We waited patiently nearby for the time to be right to photograph the Milky Way behind Arch Rock. When we started shooting we had only a couple minutes before the clouds began to roll in and obscure our intended back drop. As the clouds built I began to love the warm glow they reflected from the distant city lights as it started to illuminate the landscape. Sometimes nature has a better plan.

Beautiful subtle tones. The warmth lent to those clouds from urban light gels so nicely with those rocks. Very nice.
