Description
While exploring the Redwood forests of Northern California with good friend Chad Dutsin, ( chaddutson.com ) I spotted this uprooted tree. I hunted around for a composition, experimenting with framing the forest. I had to act quickly because the light would not be this good for very long. When I positioned my tripod low, looking up through the fallen tree into the forest, I knew I had my shot.
