I had the pleasure of experiencing this August snow storm in Jasper National Park. When I arrived at Mount Edith Cavell Lake there was a moose swimming across the lake in the falling snow. It was a very surreal and beautiful moment. This image was taken just moments after she emerged from the icy water.
As a Utah native, Dustin LeFevre spent his childhood exploring and developing a deep appreciation for nature. He spends his free time exploring the beautiful and diverse landscapes of the West. Chasing sunsets and sunrises, he hopes to capture not just what is in front of his lens, but also the way it makes him feel. He hopes his images will help inspire the same appreciation of nature and desire to explore in others.

The weather in the Rockies is completely unpredictable and a person could encounter snow any day of the year. Well done. V/L/F
