My eye was led to this tree by the ripples in the water and I was struck by its placement in the canyon. It seems to stand in defiance to the eroding canyon walls and its inevitable future as the canyon gets deeper over time. Someday this tree will be uprooted and deposited somewhere down the river. This is why I love photography, being able to capture these fleeting moments in time.
As a Utah native, Dustin LeFevre spent his childhood exploring and developing a deep appreciation for nature. He spends his free time exploring the beautiful and diverse landscapes of the West. Chasing sunsets and sunrises, he hopes to capture not just what is in front of his lens, but also the way it makes him feel.
