The Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument continues to surprise me. I took this shot shortly after sunrise. I was exploring the area and came across this scene, I positioned myself to take advantage of the sun flare in the awesome location and got my shot!

As a Utah native, Dustin LeFevre spent his childhood exploring and developing a deep appreciation for nature. He spends his free time exploring the beautiful and diverse landscapes of the West. Chasing sunsets and sunrises, he hopes to capture not just what is in front of his lens, but also the way it makes him feel. He hopes his images will help inspire the same appreciation of nature and desire to explore in others.
